Political expert and military officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Musienko explained that Putin expects that due to the losses, Ukraine will agree to peace on the Kremlin's terms, but already in Russia itself they are protesting against Putin, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in his blog.

As the expert explains, the Russian strategy is to continue the terror of Ukrainian cities, inflict damage on the economy, and cause a crisis. In addition, he adds, Russia plans to wait out Europe, wait for elections to be held there and more loyal politicians who will oppose financing Ukraine and end the war on the Kremlin's terms will come to power.

"But Russia is also suffering serious economic losses, they also have problems with the budget deficit, they also have difficulties, they are cutting social programs. This led to the fact that communists came out in Moscow, shouting “Down with the Tsar!”, 60 people were detained. You know, the Bolshevik Revolution ended with Russia withdrawing from the First World War. By the way, this is also one of the scenarios,” says Oleksandr Musienko.

Putin’s calculation, he states, is that the flurry of problems will cover us faster and that more voices will appear for peace on any terms. Meanwhile, the expert adds, Putin continues to promise Trump that there will be a trilateral technical meeting in Abu Dhabi, but only at the end of October, that is, until then he has the opportunity to continue terrorizing Ukraine, persuading us to make concessions.

“We need to form an alternative plan from the point of view of force, from the point of view of pressure. We need to show that we are so violent that we can arrange an escalation of unprecedented proportions, including in the Baltic Sea, and not only, show that this is a serious problem. That is, through escalation, we can accelerate peace negotiations that would be as adaptive as possible to our conditions. That is what we are talking about. That is, it is not about eternal war, no,” says Oleksandr Musienko.
