Electricity tariff: will it increase for household consumers in May

money

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported whether the electricity tariff will increase in May.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended the Regulation on imposing special obligations on electricity market participants to ensure general public interests in the functioning of the electricity market until October 31, 2025.

Thus, the single fixed price for electricity for individual and collective household consumers remains at the level of 4.32 UAH/kWh.

The “night tariff” for consumers with a two-zone meter of 2.16 UAH per kWh also remains in effect.

The government has decided to keep the electricity tariff for the population unchanged in order to ensure the availability of electricity for consumers. We have survived a difficult winter and intense enemy shelling, which destroyed and damaged about 10 GW of generating capacity. Energy workers continue large-scale restoration and repair work across the country.
