Military expert Oleg Starikov explained that now any escalation on the front will still end in de-escalation, but the main thing is that everything does not hang in a state where there is neither peace nor war, Politeka reports.

“There may be either escalation or de-escalation. Or there may be a third option, like in quantum mechanics, like Schrödinger's cat, either it is there or it is not. That is, neither war nor peace. Could this be? Perhaps. But I can't really imagine how this could be. It's like Minsk-3 - neither war nor peace. Therefore, I think it is unlikely that the American side, as a mediator of this level, would want there to be neither war nor peace, so that the war does not stop,” Oleg Starikov reasons.
In addition, the expert notes that in fact there are many forces that are against ending the war, and this is not about Ukraine, but about geopolitics, these forces are everywhere. As he explains, these forces are interested in the war continuing on our territory, not on theirs, so they will do everything possible to disrupt the opening of the cards, which Trump spoke about.
"What does he say? "I gave President Zelensky a royal flush." And what is a royal flush in poker? This is the highest combination of cards. It can be drawn once out of 500,000 hands.
