Ports, chemical industry, air traffic: expert tells where to strike the Armed Forces of Ukraine to paralyze Russia

war in Ukraine

Political expert Taras Zagorodny explained that Russia is already so mired in the war against Ukraine that it is difficult to end it, but the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the position of China can help in this, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in Valery Savchuk's author's program "Different People".

According to the guest of the program, it was necessary to transfer the economy to military rails from the very beginning, but finally we understood that we needed our own weapons so that we could determine where and when they would fly. Therefore, he states, good results of the war for us depend solely on Ukraine, on its efforts and capabilities, intellectual and military potential to strike at Russia's weak points.

"The blockade of the ports of the Baltic and Black Seas, strikes on the chemical industry of Russia, the blockade of air traffic, which Ukraine has already demonstrated, and these were exclusively our weapons. These are the points that allow you to break Russia from the inside. Because it doesn’t matter what sanctions are in place when you simply can’t get the oil out. 80% of Russia’s foreign trade goes through two seas – the Baltic and the Black Sea. Blockade of these ports is actually cutting off oxygen for them. Then you will dictate the terms of escalation or de-escalation, you will dictate the terms, in particular, during negotiations. Because nothing stimulates listening to the words of a diplomat as much as an army and missiles with a range of 2-3 thousand km behind them,” explains Taras Zagorodny.

At the same time, he notes, an infrastructure to support the war has been created inside Russia, and it is difficult for the Kremlin to stop it now even for economic reasons, because they will remain in a situation where the economy has collapsed, oil prices are low and there is nowhere to sell it. And this means, the expert states, that the aggression must continue, it cannot be stopped, a large number of people in Russia listened to Solovyov that "we are winning", otherwise they will consider Putin a traitor. And this, in turn, he warns, will create a situation like in Germany after the First World War, when the Germans were not occupied and they were not convinced that they had lost, the generals came, Hitler came and raised everyone to revenge.

"I believe that as long as Putin is in power, Russia will fight. This is his personal war for various reasons, and no one can do anything about it. Except for China, depending on the circumstances, whether it is beneficial for them to end the war," - concludes Taras Zagorodny.
