The war is increasingly moving into Russian territory, - expert on Operation Spiderweb

Spiderweb

Political expert and military officer Oleksandr Musienko said that Operation Spiderweb not only caused losses to the Russian Federation, but also has a powerful psychological and informational impact on Russia and the whole world, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in his blog.

"The total losses, as calculated by the SBU, amount to over $7 billion for Russia as a result of such an attack. I will tell you, this is more than some of the sanctions packages that are being introduced against Russia. And secondly, the war is increasingly moving into Russian territory," - Oleksandr Musienko notes.

After all, the expert reminds us that in addition to the drone attack on 4 Russian airfields, bridges were also blown up in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, logistics, and the transportation of ammunition and personnel to the front were disrupted. Another important aspect, he adds, is the moral and psychological impact on Russians, the understanding that Putin cannot protect them. According to the expert, there are now a lot of hysterical attacks by Russian military leaders on social networks that the authorities have given up on them, that their military is dying in large numbers at the front, and now the war is also in the rear.

"And all the intimidation that Russia will use nuclear weapons once again demonstrates that, as Mao Zedong said, nuclear weapons are a paper tiger. In the case of Russia, the impression is clear that it really is a paper tiger. Ukraine once again demonstrates that there is no need to be afraid of Russia, that, yes, they threaten and rattle nuclear weapons, but, in the end, they can and should be beaten, and nothing will happen," emphasizes Oleksandr Musienko.

In addition, the expert adds, after Operation Spiderweb, the positions of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations in Istanbul on June 2 will become much stronger than they were before, and Trump or anyone else will definitely not say that Ukraine has no cards, now they do.
