"The risks of a strike remain": an expert said whether Russia will respond to the SBU operation "Web"

Political expert and military officer Oleksandr Musienko said that Russia has nothing to respond to the SBU special operation "Web", although the risks of shelling remain, Politeka reports.

He said this in his blog.

"In order for our defense to be even more effective, such special operations are needed, they will contribute to this. As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Zelensky, Putin and Russia know that there will be subsequent operations, but they do not know where and when. That is why there is panic," - Oleksandr Musienko notes.

And of course, he states, in Russia there will now be counter-terrorist regimes, witch hunts, paranoia, checking all trucks, they will climb into every bush and under every stone, so implementing subsequent operations will be more difficult, but it is not impossible.

Meanwhile, Putin, the expert emphasizes, has once again gotten into trouble. If Russia had planned some kind of response to the airfield attack on June 1, we would have seen it by now, but there was nothing, except for the threats of "Oreshnik". Instead, we saw, he states, that Putin reacted after the fact, and before that, he was obviously shaking in the bunker. At the same time, the expert warns, the risks of large-scale missile and drone attacks in the near future remain, although they are being delayed for technical reasons and because any response must be agreed with Trump.

"They are clearly not reaching the level of a superpower, as Russia wanted to put itself, as Putin wanted to spread with his propaganda, because it is impossible to act in this way. Everyone was waiting for something, they said that a Russian strike would happen now. There is none. Again, in many ways, these intimidations simply do not work. But the risks of a strike remain," concludes Oleksandr Musienko.
