Political strategist on Putin's meeting with Zelensky: "he'll be scared to meet"

Putin

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman said that Zelensky has already offered everything possible for a meeting with Putin, but the Russian leader is afraid, makes excuses, and Trump for some reason does not react, Politeka reports.

He wrote about this in his blog.

"It turns out that, according to Ushakov, a meeting between Putin and Zelensky was never planned, the question of a meeting was never raised. Here I will once again sing a song of praise to the host of the Sheitelman channel, because all the time I say the following: a meeting between Zelensky and Putin will never take place. Just never. Putin will be scared to meet with Zelensky, and this is always a permanent constant. Only when Putin is sitting in a cell in The Hague, Zelensky will come to talk to him. There are no other conditions for a meeting," Mikhail Sheitelman claims.

Along the way, he recalls that Zelensky recently proposed to immediately establish a ceasefire, stop the entire war and meet any day anywhere - Istanbul, the Vatican, Switzerland. According to the expert, this is a cool proposal, and it is somehow strange that Trump did not say or write anything about it.

"Why doesn't Trump write? He wrote to us that Ukraine is obliged to immediately leave for negotiations. Why the hell does Trump not write that Putin is obliged to immediately leave for a meeting with Zelensky and agree, accept these conditions? It would seem that the ideal conditions: now there is a truce, we meet, if we can agree - it is extended, if we can't - it is not extended," Mikhail Sheitelman reasons.
Nevertheless, he states, Putin refused everything, and explained this by the fact that Kyiv is a terrorist regime. It is interesting, the expert notes, that the terrorist regime is not because the Russian strategic aviation was hit, Putin is afraid to talk about this, but because someone blew up bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
