Economy or politics: expert assesses whether Trump will continue to provide weapons to Ukraine

Trump

Political expert and military officer Oleksandr Musienko explained that it is the United States that has enough weapons in warehouses and sufficient military-industrial complex capabilities to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine defeat the occupiers, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in his blog.
"There is another important message that the head of state of Ukraine said in an interview with ABC News. This is the fact that the United States transferred 20,000 anti-Shahed missiles for Ukraine to the Middle East. They did not come to Ukraine and do not help us fight Russian terror. We are forced to look for our own ways and ways out, and they are found in the fact that there are anti-aircraft drones, interceptors and not only, other means that give us the opportunity to defend ourselves, protect ourselves and repel enemy attacks. But the fact itself...", - Oleksandr Musienko notes.

The expert also emphasized that we have not yet heard from Trump and his administration any decisions on further support for Ukraine with weapons, on when and what supplies will be made. At the same time, he adds, the situation on the front is not easy, the enemy is trying to put pressure on the Sumy direction, to implement offensive actions, the ultimate goal of which is the strategic capture of the Donetsk region, and this must be counteracted.

"The President of Ukraine clearly says that we will not be able to win without the USA. Only the USA has the necessary weapons to counteract the enemy. That is, not only the USA, but the USA has it in large quantities both in warehouses and the military-industrial complex can produce it," explains Oleksandr Musienko.

Therefore, the expert states, it remains to be hoped that the financial interest of the manufacturers will prevail over the political one. After all, he notes, too much has already been invested in production, in production lines, someone bought land, someone rented it, someone hired workers, this does not just happen.
