Karabakh scenario in Ukraine: expert talks about new threats from the Kremlin

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman said that Medinsky is threatening Ukraine with a Karabakh scenario in case of refusal of Russian conditions, which will end in a nuclear catastrophe, Politeka reports.
Moscow, Kreml

He wrote about this in his blog.

"Medinsky believes that it is necessary to immediately sign a peace treaty and recognize the occupied territories, otherwise Russia will simply be forced to burn the whole world in nuclear fire. It will simply be forced. No, not Ukraine, the whole world will simply be forced," says Mikhail Sheitelman.

In one interview, Medinsky, he says, said that if they cease fire along the front line now without recognizing the status of the occupied territories, then this region will turn into a large Karabakh, Ukraine will then join NATO and begin to recapture it. According to the expert, of course, Ukraine is not going to recognize anything for Russia, it, like Azerbaijan in its time, will stop the war in order to take back what is its own.

"And now Russia, it turns out, is ready at this moment to use nuclear weapons and destroy the planet. Do you understand? That is, to destroy the planet. And now the question is - do we really need to sign a truce with them if people are going to destroy the planet? Do we really need to? What are they even counting on? And if today some Trump signs a paper that he recognizes Mariupol as part of Russia, will Ukraine then not return it by military means or what? Of course it will. This land will never be Russian. Never. That is, Medinsky is condemning the world to a nuclear catastrophe. Right? That's the essence of the Russians," comments Mikhail Sheitelman.

By the way, the expert notes, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has already responded to Medinsky, pointing out that the assistant to the Russian president, a historian by education, is distorting historical facts regarding the past Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict, because Nagorno-Karabakh has never been a disputed territory.
