"Reinforcement has arrived": the expert said whether there will be counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Sumy and Kurshchyna

Political expert and military officer Alexander Musyenko assessed the situation in the Sumy and Kursk regions and stated that Ukraine is successfully using aviation and preparing for a counterattack, Politeka reports.
He told about this in his blog.
According to the expert, Russian troops continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Kursk direction, try to squeeze out the Armed Forces, push their positions deep into the Sumy region, but fail. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still occupying positions in the Kursk region and are continuing serious resistance there, even counterattacking.
"For the past 2 weeks, both the Russian side and the Ukrainian Armed Forces have strengthened their positions, that is, reinforcements have arrived. In principle, the reinforcement did not help Russia strengthen its offensive and success, on the contrary, it actually benefited the Ukrainian side, and this is noticeable. As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine, said, our troops succeeded in liberating the settlement of Andreevka in the Sumy region," Alexander Musyenko emphasizes.
Also, the expert notes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine has no intention of simply passively holding the defense, the plans are to prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold in occupied positions and to carry out counteroffensive actions with the goal of dislodging Russian troops from positions in both the Sumy and Kursk regions, and this will be implemented.
"Another peculiarity is that the Ukrainian aviation began to work quite noticeably in this direction. The Air Force is doing a lot to repel the Russian Air Force, which uses guided bombs and attacks on our civilian infrastructure. And that is why it was possible to reduce Russian attacks from the air, precisely using Ukrainian aviation, in particular, F-16 aircraft. But, unfortunately, not yet in full," says Alexander Musyenko.
