North Korea to Become Russia’s Rear Factory: Expert Discusses New Projects by Kim Jong Un and Putin

Putin

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko said that Russia is transferring its production capacities to North Korea. According to available information, Kim Jong Un is already building a new large-scale factory, reports Politeka.
He shared this in his blog.

“This is the largest weapons factory in North Korea. It’s likely being built specifically for Russia. In other words, Kim Jong Un is ready to become a major rear factory for Putin. Apparently, this was negotiated by Shoigu during his recent visit to Kim. Shoigu wanted to get infantrymen with weapons, but instead, Kim is offering sappers and construction workers to help rebuild the Kursk region. So Kim does not want to send soldiers into a meat grinder but is ready to assist with factories,” Musiienko noted.

According to NK News, as the expert explains, during his visit to Chagang Province, Kim Jong Un inspected a project for one of the country’s largest military factories, with an area possibly exceeding 5–10 hectares—twice the size of existing facilities. Based on satellite images, Musiienko points out that dismantling work had already begun on this site back in May.

Kim Jong Un himself stated, according to the expert, that the new complex will become the foundation for developing advanced machinery capable of boosting the progress of North Korea’s defense industry. The production will focus on intelligent, fast, and precise machines. It is curious, the expert ponders, where Pyongyang will source them—but clearly, Beijing will lend its support.

“We’re seeing that North Korea is trying to get the most out of this situation for itself, while Putin is cornered and has no choice but to seek help from Kim Jong Un. However, Ukraine is also looking for solutions and working with partners so that weapons can be produced on NATO territory for both our needs and in cooperation with our manufacturers. There are already successful examples of this, and there will be more. It’s important to understand that the necessary work is being done,” Oleksandr Musiienko concluded.
