"Apart from missile and drone attacks, there is no threat to Dnipro" – expert on Russia’s offensive

Russia's Attack on Ukraine

Political expert and military serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that Russian forces did not capture Dachne in the Dnipropetrovsk region — it was a sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) that managed to film propaganda videos, Politeka reports.
He shared this in his blog.

According to the expert, there were indeed some actions in the area, but it was merely a hostile SRG, which has already been eliminated. He explains that this group immediately began staging a propaganda performance: they started recording scripted messages, filming themselves with Russian tricolors, and claiming they were advancing into the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“This SRG was eliminated, but they managed to send these videos to their colleagues and political officers so they could quickly distribute them through Russian media and war correspondents to spread the information rapidly. That was their plan, but they were destroyed. Other groups attempting to enter are also being neutralized,” Oleksandr Musiienko explains.

As of today, he states, there are no Russian troops entrenched in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which is officially confirmed by the General Staff. However, the expert warns that the enemy will continue to try to operate through SRGs and may attempt further incursions from Donetsk into the Dnipropetrovsk region with the aim of conducting raids, creating propaganda content, and filming these so-called documentary mini-films.

The reason is clear, he emphasizes — to demoralize us, support their own forces, and try to disrupt our logistics. But, he adds, the situation is currently under control.

"Apart from missile and drone attacks, there is no threat to Dnipro. As for the Dnipropetrovsk region — it’s clear. Along the borders of the region, at least from the southeastern direction, fighting has been ongoing. It’s been going on for quite some time already — there’s nothing new in that," Oleksandr Musiienko concludes.
