"Very Good News About Trump": Expert Says the U.S. Has United with Europe and Ukraine Against Russia

Trump

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman explained that Trump has stopped dealing with Putin one-on-one because Putin constantly deceives him. Now, he is aligning himself with Zelensky and European leaders, reports Politeka.

He shared this in his blog.

According to the expert, a very interesting development is that after Whitcoff’s negotiations with Putin, Trump spoke not only with Zelensky but also with European leaders — UK Prime Minister Starmer, German Chancellor Merz, Finnish President Stubb, and NATO Secretary General Rutte.

“This is good because they won’t start quarrelling in the presence of Merz, Stubb, Rutte, and Starmer. And this says a lot about Trump — it tells us very good news about Trump. Trump has stopped being a narcissist. Trump decided to set aside his narcissism, his belief in his own greatness, in being the only one. He could have refused to share the Nobel Peace Prize — after all, it’s not something you divide like a bottle of vodka among three people. But Trump decided to share the glory, to share everything. He thought: if he’s alone against Putin again, Putin will deceive him again. That’s why he decided to involve the Europeans,” Sheitelman emphasized.

Indeed, if Trump were not maintaining a dialogue with Zelensky and European leaders, the expert notes, Whitcoff would have simply reported back to him about the talks with Putin, saying they had come to an agreement — that there would be no more shelling of Kyiv, in exchange for handing over Kherson to the Russians — and Trump would have agreed, thinking it would save lives. But when such discussions happen in the presence of Zelensky, Starmer, Merz, Stubb, and Rutte, that won’t fly — because they know Ukraine’s map, the situation on the front lines, and the balance of forces. Together with them, Trump can make a well-informed decision.

“Trump realized that he doesn’t have to fight Putin alone — he needs to be part of this collective effort. This has been achieved, and it’s thanks to several people. It’s thanks to Rutte, whom I initially mocked and criticized for his sycophancy in conversations with Trump. But it turned out he was just looking for the right approach — and he found it. He said that Trump is leaning toward confrontation with Putin. And Macron, having the ability to call Trump endlessly, used that to pull him into this merry group. Remember? They gathered in Kyiv — he called Trump. They gathered in Albania — he called Trump. Macron kept doing this, involving Trump more and more in this team effort. And it worked,” Sheitelman explains.
