Hellish Sanctions Against Russia: Expert Explains How Ukraine Is Strengthening Its Negotiating Position

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiyenko stated that Ukraine is currently demonstrating its capabilities — actively striking Russian oil refineries and ports, according to Politeka.
He shared this in his blog.
"How much damage have the so-called hellish sanctions from Ukrainian drones caused to Russia? In just 12 days, Ukrainian drones hit five Russian oil refineries. All of them, without exception, were forced to halt operations," Musiyenko emphasized.
According to the expert, on August 2, Ukrainian drones struck the Ryazan oil refinery, which processes 13 million tons of oil per year, and the Novokuibyshevsk refinery, with a capacity of 8.3 million tons per year. On August 7, the Afipsky refinery (7 million tons per year) was hit; on August 10 — the Saratov refinery (7 million tons per year); on August 14 — the Volgograd refinery (14.8 million tons per year); and on August 15 — the Syzran refinery (8.9 million tons per year).
In addition, he notes, the General Staff reported a successful strike on the Russian seaport "Olya" in the Astrakhan region — an important military facility for Russia, as it is used to deliver components and weapons systems from Iran. Furthermore, the expert adds, the vessel "Olya 4," which had arrived from Iran and was awaiting unloading at the port, was also struck.
"The hellish sanctions of Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces are strikes on refineries, strikes on all of Russia’s capabilities," Oleksandr Musiyenko concluded.
