Political strategist Mykhailo Sheitelman explained that Angelina Jolie’s visit to Kherson is not a story about the Military Recruitment Center (TCC), but about a Hollywood star showing her support for Ukraine, Politeka reports.

According to the expert, there was a lot of noise about how the TCC detained Angelina Jolie’s bodyguard in Kherson. First of all, he emphasizes, the bodyguard was not American; and secondly, that’s not what the story is about at all. The focus should be on the fact that a Hollywood star came to Kherson.

“She left Brad Pitt, but she didn’t leave Kherson. She forgot Brad Pitt, but she didn’t forget Kherson. Kherson is a city where Russians behave absolutely barbarically, turning it into a human safari. All global media reported that Russian officers and soldiers deliberately hunt people using drones — civilians, grandparents, people simply driving cars, children. By the way, Russians also kill infants in Kherson with drones. The whole world’s media wrote about it and then forgot, because this hunting has been going on for a long time — over a year now.

He emphasizes that with all her opportunities, Angelina Jolie could have been anywhere in the world at that moment, doing anything she wanted — yachting, eating seafood — but instead, she came to Kherson.
