“Witkoffgate”: Expert Explains Why the Leak Scandal Will Soon Fade

Rubio, Witkoff

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman explained that the leak of Witkoff’s conversation is not an Epstein-type case, which is why the scandal will soon die down, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on his blog.

“News from America has kind of faded, you know? They all got carried away with the turkey. The turkey drowned out the previous news. The last round of news, I remind you, was first the so-called peace plan, then ‘Witkoffgate,’ the exposure of Witkoff as a Russian agent. And now the turkey has basically shut everyone up. The newspapers have scattered somewhere, as if nothing had happened. And as if our call, ‘Fire the fool, America,’ was not heard by anyone in America,” Sheitelman notes.

According to the expert, the Thanksgiving turkey has silenced journalists, politicians, and senators—they’ve forgotten everything, and by Monday everyone might well forget about the scandal surrounding the leaked Witkoff conversation.

The Epstein case scandal, he emphasizes, hasn’t died down even once, and that’s because it involves pornography—people are at least curious to know what happens next. But politics and international law by comparison are boring.

“I’m curious whether there are new tapes. Are there more tapes of Witkoff, tapes of Dmitriev, tapes of Ushakov? We really need them today; they would be extremely useful,” Sheitelman stresses.
