“The United States Wants to Pull Russia Away from China”: Expert Explains Trump’s Economic Plans

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko commented on the large-scale joint exercises conducted by Russia and China involving strategic aviation and explained what they mean, Politeka reports.

He discussed this in his blog.

According to the expert, the exercises took place in the Sea of Japan, the East China Sea, and the western part of the Pacific Ocean. In particular, he says, five Russian Tu-95MS aircraft carried out simulated launches of Kh-101 missiles over the Japanese archipelago, while two Il-78 tankers provided aerial refueling. They then headed toward the East China Sea, and an AWACS aircraft was also involved. On the Chinese side, the airspace was monitored by KJ-500A aircraft, and Chinese J-16 and J-11 bombers operated together with Russian Su-30SM fighters.

“In response to the flyover, South Korea scrambled F-15 fighters and Japan scrambled F-35s. So, we see there is escalation here as well. By the way, Japanese specialists conducted an analysis and noted that the current threats from the Russia–China alliance extend not only to Europe but also to Japan and Korea. We can see what is happening and how they are consolidating. What kind of separation or detachment of Russia from China are we even talking about?” Musiienko emphasizes.

However, the expert notes, in order to detach Russia from China, the United States is now offering a substantial investment package for the Russian economy. Clearly, he states, this is not just about lifting sanctions in the event a peace agreement is reached. As the WSJ writes, the US is offering $200 billion for development programs, cooperation, and joint investments with Russia.

“Supposedly, such a secret plan for reintegrating Russia into the global economy has been prepared by the United States and handed over to the Europeans for review. America is already drafting such plans. But Europe reacted coolly to these proposals. This is, essentially, what is happening. The United States wants to pull Russia away from China. And, likely, those discussions that took place between Dmitriev, Witkoff, and Kushner since the summer about joint investment projects are also part of this picture. We’ll see what this ultimately leads to,” Musiienko concludes.
