“A catastrophe involving nuclear reactors may occur”: expert warns about the consequences of Russian strikes

war

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that this year’s Davos forum should be focused on Russian genocide, which is leading to a humanitarian catastrophe and nuclear threats, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on his blog.

According to the expert, the focus of attention in Davos is currently shifting too much toward negotiations, the situation around Greenland, and Europe, whereas it should instead concentrate on other tracks.

“The path to preserving Europe’s security, independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty lies through supporting Ukraine. The troops that Denmark plans to send to Greenland should be sent to Ukraine. Paradoxical as it may sound, the path to preserving Greenland for Denmark lies through Ukraine, because both Putin and Trump would see that Ukraine is strong,” Oleksandr Musiienko asserts.

The second message, he notes, is that Russia is committing genocide, and therefore it is necessary to talk about Ukraine’s energy needs in order to avoid a major humanitarian catastrophe in the center of Europe.

“We are standing on the brink of a situation where a catastrophe involving nuclear reactors could occur, and humanitarian disasters could happen in major cities. The mayor warns that this could effectively trigger a massive outflow of the population and departures not only beyond Kyiv but beyond Ukraine, which would mean an influx of refugees into European countries. There could be releases of hazardous substances that would pollute European air—and not only European air. Fortunately, it has been possible to restore power to the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, but these are fundamentally important issues that must be the focus,” Oleksandr Musiienko explains.
