The next two weeks will be decisive, a politician says about a possible war in Iran

Middle East, war

The head of the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan, Muhiddin Kabiri, stated that everything is moving toward an attack on Iran.

He said this in Valeriy Savchuk’s author program “Different People.”

According to the guest of the program, no one wants a war in Iran — neither Trump, nor Israel, nor the neighboring countries.

“Iran does not want to give in, because for it this is not only a matter of sovereignty, but also of state image and even a personal matter. Abandoning the programs into which they have invested billions of dollars over decades and in which they have achieved certain success is almost equal to capitulation,” Muhiddin Kabiri explains.

In his opinion, the next two weeks will be decisive because Trump cannot play this negotiation game for long — he likes to achieve concrete results.

“Therefore, I think the next two weeks will be decisive. Probably the only country that is somehow still interested in a war or an operation against Iran is Israel. But even they are not interested in a long war, because the 12-day war showed that Iran has something to respond with. And as long as it has missiles capable of reaching Israeli territory, Israel cannot wage this war for long,” Muhiddin Kabiri concludes.
