Trump’s main task is to arrive in Beijing with cards – political analyst on the operation against Iran
International political analyst Maksym Yali explained that the key objective of U.S. operations against Venezuela and Iran is actually China, and all these events are being aligned with Trump’s visit to Beijing in April, Politeka reports.
He spoke about this on the “7 Steps” channel.
According to the guest of the program, all recent events and Trump’s decision to begin a military operation against Iran should be viewed in the context of his upcoming negotiations with Xi Jinping in April. In the same context, he notes, there was the operation against Venezuela; now Iran; and Russia remains as well—the key suppliers of oil to China.
“In other words, Trump’s main task is to arrive in Beijing with cards, as he once told Zelensky during his first scandalous visit: ‘You don’t have any cards.’ And if all this drags on until autumn, then Trump will arrive in Beijing without cards,” Maksym Yali emphasizes.
Accordingly, the expert notes, after Plan A they began looking for Plan B. There were reports about a Kurdish offensive, but this has been denied, and about Azerbaijan’s participation, which Aliyev also rejected. Therefore, he stresses, the key task of the United States now is to change the regime of the ayatollahs in Iran. According to the expert, for Israel Iran truly represents an existential threat to national security, while the United States is its key partner, especially Trump since his first presidential term.
“It is necessary to take control of Iran’s oil and gas production sector. Let me remind you that it has the largest natural gas reserves, even larger than Russia’s. Accordingly, prices and levers of influence must be brought down in order to limit the key challenge to Trump that threatens the global leadership of the United States. But, as they say, something went wrong,” Maksym Yali concludes.
