“Prepared for war for years”: an expert assesses whether the U.S. will overthrow the regime in Iran

Iran

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko said that, despite Iran’s capabilities, the United States and Israel are delivering serious strikes, and it would be beneficial for Ukraine if the ayatollah regime were to fall, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on his blog.

According to the expert, at least a day has passed since Trump issued an ultimatum to Iran: either the Strait of Hormuz is unblocked, or strikes on critical infrastructure and the energy sector will begin. He notes that this is something we have already heard before; in Ukraine, we have already experienced such a strategy, which closely resembles Russian terror against civilians.

“Well, Trump has begun. I will say frankly that it is in our interests for the United States to achieve the سقوط (fall) of the Iranian regime, for Americans to enter Iran and gain control over oil and gas, which would ultimately lead to lower prices and stabilization of the situation,” Oleksandr Musiienko claims.

In the EU, the expert says, discussions are already starting about fuel rationing: 50 liters per day per person, 200 liters for farmers per unit of machinery, and so on. Meanwhile, Southeast Asia is beginning to suffer the most, he continues, as, for example, Pakistan depends on liquefied gas supplies from Qatar for 90% of its needs.

“It is known that Iran attacked targets using weapons that bypassed Patriot systems, including the Diego Garcia base. This indicates that Iran has indeed advanced its missile and drone program and has been preparing for war for years. Nevertheless, American and Israeli strikes are proving effective. Yes, this is taking time, but they are causing significant damage to Iran and its military capabilities and will continue to do so,” Oleksandr Musiienko concludes.
