Negotiations for Peace: Ukraine Prepares "Plan B" in Case of Trump's Deal Failure

Negotiations for Peace: Ukraine is preparing a "Plan B" in case the peace deal actively promoted by US President Donald Trump is not concluded.
As of Monday, April 28, Bild reported that Ukraine, which has been without new US arms supplies for four months, has significantly ramped up its defense industry. This includes increased production of kamikaze drones, which now account for three-quarters of Russia's battlefield losses, compared to a third two years ago.
Also, Ukraine has significantly increased its production of heavy artillery, including the Bogdan howitzers, with 20 new units rolling off the production line each month. Some 155mm shells are also being manufactured in Ukraine.
According to a Ukrainian officer, whose name was not disclosed, there are no issues with ammunition, but the dependence on French and German shells remains substantial.
On April 23, US Vice President Jay D. Vance stated that the US would withdraw from talks if Ukraine and Russia refuse territorial concessions.
