This is not a lone fanatic — it’s about a certain strategy: an expert assessed what the shooter’s target at the White House was

Trump

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko explained what the consequences of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump might be, what the shooter was trying to achieve, and whether it could have been staged for PR purposes, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on his blog.

According to the expert, the American shooter wrote a manifesto in which he called Trump a pedophile and a rapist. However, it is interesting, he notes, that the text is written calmly, without aggression or bitterness toward others; its aim is to emphasize the role of Trump and his administration in a negative sense. Even more interesting, the expert adds, is that the shooter’s targets were representatives of the White House administration, except for the FBI director.

“Perhaps Cole Allen wants to shift the blame onto the FBI director. Perhaps he wants to trigger internal conflicts within Trump’s team. Perhaps he aims to drive a wedge into the team’s unity. This cannot be ruled out. We are not dealing with a fanatic who just snapped. Although, again, only the appropriate specialists—doctors and psychiatrists—can determine that. But for now, visually and considering the style of the manifesto, the way it is written suggests this is not a lone fanatic, but rather a certain strategy. Even the idea of framing the FBI director, knowing that he would be responsible for investigating the case,” Oleksandr Musiienko reflects.

In addition, he notes that information has surfaced indicating that the Department of Homeland Security, which is responsible for securing such events and countering potential acts of violence, is underfunded; since February, employees have not been paid salaries, which explains a certain crisis within the institution.

“Many of you have written that this is a setup, a provocation—that it was carried out by Trump himself or members of his team for PR purposes, to boost ratings. It’s unclear what would have a greater effect—higher ratings or anti-ratings,” adds Oleksandr Musiienko.
