"Decision point": expert explains what will happen at the talks in Istanbul

Istanbul

Military expert Oleg Starikov explained that all this time Trump's special representatives have been developing a roadmap, and on May 15 the parties will finally sit down at the negotiating table, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on his channel.

"The bifurcation point, when exactly all the narratives changed, occurred after the telephone conversations between Trump and Zelensky and Trump and Putin. At that time, the political issue of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war within the framework of a large geostrategy had already been decided. And the special representatives did not just come to watch, and they met in Riyadh, they were developing a roadmap. And since they developed a roadmap, it is now being implemented," Oleg Starikov explains.

As the expert notes, someone might think that chaos is happening, entropy, like the second law of thermodynamics, that is, absolutely nothing is clear, one said one thing, the second said another, the third said a third, and all these statements contradict each other. According to him, if you take all these events on a small time scale, it really looks like a mess, but if on a large scale, then we will see that everything is structured and aligned.

“The time scale is reduced, and everything is happening very quickly. On the 15th, what is called the decision point will happen. The decision point is May 15,” Oleg Starikov emphasizes.

In his opinion, it does not even matter who exactly will take part in the negotiations, be it presidents, foreign ministers or ordinary delegations, the decision will still be made. According to the expert, the armored train that Trump built when he came to power is moving forward, the Russian and Ukrainian sides are set in a track, and they will not jump out, that is, they will not leave the negotiations.
