Something like a civil war is brewing in the US, - expert on protests in California

USA

Political expert and military officer Oleksandr Musienko said that the situation with anti-immigration policy in the US is escalating, which China and Russia can take advantage of, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this in his blog.

“In fact, something like a civil war is brewing in the US. Even President Trump, who denies this fact and says that he does not want a civil war, admits this. In philosophy, this is one of the objections according to Kant. If you deny it, then you admit the fact that it is possible. In US history, this was from 1861 to 1866. Is America prone to a civil war under conditions of heating, incitement, and intensification? And we understand that both Russia and China could be behind this, anything is possible. It is only worth waiting for a spark that can ignite the flame,” comments Oleksandr Musienko.

As the expert explains, Putin is only sleeping and sees that the internal crisis in the US is escalating, that there are more disagreements, that the Trump administration is moving away from foreign policy issues, from protecting international law. In addition, he adds, these are really internal problems of the US and without external intervention, because those who voted for Trump support the strengthening of the fight against migrants, but there is also opposition to such a policy.

So, the expert states, protests in California do not subside, clashes are taking place, and Trump even used the National Guard to suppress them, without agreeing with the state authorities, which is why Governor Gavin Newsom filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court.

“Newsom is also an interesting politician. He is the governor of California and a man who is called one of the contenders for the next presidential election from the Democratic Party. Newsom represents a large state in terms of economic potential, port infrastructure, this is Silicon Valley. And in particular, he advocates for deepening cooperation with China. He has been to China, perhaps, more often than all the governors. Therefore, this is also an interesting factor," concludes Oleksandr Musienko.
