New Troop Deployments from North Korea: Expert Reveals Where Russia Is Preparing an Offensive

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that Russia and North Korea are strengthening their cooperation, and there is already information suggesting that Kim Jong Un will once again send troops to support Putin, according to Politeka.

He discussed this in his blog.

According to the expert, Reuters, citing South Korean lawmakers who receive intelligence from their own sources, reports that it is highly likely North Korea may once again deploy its troops directly to Russia to assist in the war.

"A few weeks ago, when Shoigu—the Secretary of Russia's Security Council and former Minister of Defense—flew directly to meet with Kim Jong Un, they were likely negotiating, among other things, how Russia could receive additional soldiers from North Korea to conduct offensive operations toward the Sumy region. Most likely, that was the purpose of the meeting," Musiienko stated.

At the same time, the expert notes that it is still unknown how many troops and what kind of equipment might be involved—there are too few details at this point to draw conclusions. However, he adds, it is likely that this time Kim Jong Un will send Putin more soldiers than previously agreed.

"I want to remind you that earlier it was agreed that North Korea would send sappers and workers to the Kursk region: some would help rebuild what had been destroyed, while others, of course, would be engaged in demining. But clearly, it now appears that more troops could be sent, and their role will also be different," Oleksandr Musiienko concluded.
