Trump Gave the “Green Light”: Expert Explains How U.S. Sanctions Will Destroy Putin’s War Machine

Trump

Political expert and military serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that Trump is clearly beginning to take action, as the Senate is preparing to soon consider sanctions against Russia, Politeka reports.

He shared this in his blog:

“Lindsey Graham claims there’s been a major breakthrough on the issue of sanctions against Russia. It happened during a game of golf on Saturday. And where can the best deals be made with Trump? On the golf course. Perhaps Zelenskyy will someday have the honor of playing golf with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. I think a lot of issues would be resolved in Ukraine’s favor after that — and it would end badly for Russia. So, during the game, Trump said it was time to act and move the sanctions bill forward,” Musiienko notes.

According to the expert, Lindsey Graham reported that the Senate will begin considering sanctions against Russia after July 7, and he is confident that Trump will sign the bill, although the final decision on the introduction of tariffs against countries rests with Trump himself.

Graham also noted, Musiienko adds, that today the biggest buyers of Russian oil are China and India — so the sanctions will primarily target them. However, the expert emphasizes that these are still sanctions against Russia, as China will begin to seek alternative sources of oil and gas, which means Russia will receive less revenue for the war.

“The Americans are trying to kill two birds with one stone. On the one hand, deterring China is part of the Trump administration’s grand strategic foreign policy line — we understand that. On the other hand, this puts pressure on Russia. So this is exactly the kind of linkage that works — sanctions against China and Russia, targeting their cooperation, to reduce their collaboration and limit China’s ability to support Russia and vice versa. It’s an interesting move,” Musiienko explains.
