Halting Arms Supplies to Ukraine Is a Strategic Mistake by the U.S. Amid Threats from China: Expert Opinion

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko has stated that the U.S. paused weapons supplies to Ukraine in preparation for a possible future war with China, but that war is already happening in Europe at the hands of Russia, according to Politeka.

He discussed this in his blog.

According to the expert, the U.S. has still not resumed the supply of certain types of weapons to Ukraine, particularly the Patriot air defense systems and their missiles—crucially important amid ongoing Russian missile attacks. He noted that it's strange to hear explanations in Western media suggesting this decision is due to the need to audit U.S. stockpiles in preparation for some hypothetical war that may or may not occur.

“Well, here is your war. Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran are currently waging a joint war against the United States. And right now, that war is in its Ukrainian phase. But it's not impossible that this war may reach the U.S. itself—just as it did on September 11, 2001,” Musiienko emphasized.

According to the expert, if some American politicians believe they can hide, isolate themselves, or turn a blind eye to the terror and horrific crimes committed by Putin’s regime—supported by Xi Jinping and enabled by Kim Jong Un—they are gravely mistaken. These threats, he insists, are much closer than Trump, Vance, Rubio, and others might think.

“There is a war going on right now. Russia, with the support of China and North Korea, is waging war against the West, against democratic values, against freedoms—against everything the United States was built to protect. And if American politicians in power don’t understand this, I deeply pity America, because this is a complete degradation. Sorry, but I call things by their name. This is a total collapse—moral, political, and legal. Perhaps it would be better if artificial intelligence governed instead, if things have come to this,” Musiienko concluded.
