Russia Launches a New Wave of Escalation: Expert Reveals What Kind of Drones Were Flying Over Scandinavian Countries

Political expert and military serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that the Kremlin has a whole arsenal of destabilization tactics and actions against Europe, and it has already started crossing certain boundaries, according to Politeka.
He shared these insights in his blog.

According to the expert, Russia constantly employs information and psychological operations (IPSO). Even if all pro-Kremlin channels are shut down, it still manages to reach into the minds of Europeans. Furthermore, he adds, Russia’s arsenal includes sabotage operations in Europe, reconnaissance drones over various facilities, funding of political parties and public movements aimed at undermining internal stability in European countries, and GPS signal jamming, which poses risks to civil aviation and maritime navigation.

“The Kremlin has crossed yet another line – it has openly attacked NATO countries, particularly Poland and Romania. Well, according to Romanian authorities, the drone allegedly left Romanian airspace and returned to Ukraine. But in Poland, they are still finding drone debris. Now imagine if all of them had explosive warheads. Someone could go mushroom-picking in a Polish forest and get blown up. These drones could scatter mines, cluster munitions…” – warns Oleksandr Musiienko.

He also reminds that recently, Eurofighter jets had to be scrambled from a German airbase to chase off Russian aircraft in the Baltic Sea near Estonia. These planes, as usual, had their transponders turned off, attempting to hide their location. And now, the expert emphasizes, drones have been spotted in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, paralyzing airport operations in Copenhagen and Oslo.

“Initially, reports said these were UAVs of an unidentified type and unknown origin. As if we don’t know who owns them or who launched them. I think the answer is quite obvious, because I, for one, have no doubts in this situation – it’s very clear who benefits from this and who has something to gain,” Musiienko concludes.
