Uncle Sam Loves Us: Something Incredible Is Happening – Political Technologist on Trump’s Post Complimenting Ukraine
Political technologist Mikhail Sheitelman explained that Ukraine has already done everything Trump wanted, which is why the praise and compliments are coming now. The next step is to put pressure on Russia to agree to peace, reports Politeka.
He shared his thoughts in his blog.
"I don't know exactly what kind of fly bit Trump, but it was definitely our Ukrainian fly. Uncle Sam loves us. I used to think only Buddha loved us, but now I am convinced that Uncle Sam loves us—something incredible is happening," notes Mikhail Sheitelman.
According to the expert, Trump's words in the post, saying that Ukraine could reclaim all its rightful territories and maybe even go further, are already a strong hint. He actually mentioned this in a meeting with Macron. As for the "going further" part, he speculates, it wouldn't be bad to take Russian cities in exchange for our destroyed ones. Also, Russia should be cut off from the Black Sea, which would make sense. And, by the way, the expert adds, Trump also wrote in the same post that Ukraine would receive weapons through NATO, so maybe the U.S. will provide something more, like "Tomahawk" missiles.
"Yes, Trump has a liquefied brain, I don't deny it, and we will still hear terrible things from him—he will scare us a thousand times. But let's remember the first post Trump published about our war when he came to power: 'I'll call Zelensky, offer him peace; if he refuses, I'll stop supplying weapons. Then I'll call Putin, offer him peace; if he refuses, I'll impose sanctions, tariffs, and flood Ukraine with weapons.' We are exactly at this stage now. Everything Trump promised," explains Mikhail Sheitelman.
He reminds that earlier Zelensky and Ukraine were not ready for Trump's offer. According to social polls, only a third of citizens were open to freezing the war along the front lines, but now more than half are. Now, the expert states, Russia is not ready, which is why Trump is selling us weapons and is likely to increase the supply, having already introduced tariffs and waiting for Europe.
