This Is the First Time Trump Has Publicly Said He Caught Putin Lying — Political Strategist on the Valdai Attack

Political strategist Mykhailo Sheitelman said that after interrogations of Maduro in prison, Trump will not only stop believing Putin but will also learn all the inside details about Russia — all the schemes and black accounts, Politeka reports.
He said this on his blog.
According to the expert, Trump’s statement that he does not believe Putin regarding the Ukrainian drone attack on his residence in Valdai is a very nontrivial event. Previously, he recalls, Trump constantly spoke about general trust — that Putin wants peace, wants good and prosperity for Ukraine — that is, he spoke about things that cannot really be verified. But now, the expert emphasizes, Trump checked the data of the SBU, which showed that the attack was in the same region but not on the residence at all, and realized that Putin was lying to him about the facts.
“This is the first case when Trump has publicly stated that he caught Putin lying. And although we know that Trump is quite a character, to put it mildly, for now this pendulum has swung very far away from Putin — and that means in a direction beneficial to us. And I think that since Trump snatched Maduro, he has really learned a lot about Putin,” Mykhailo Sheitelman emphasizes.
Now, he notes, Maduro is in prison, but hardly sitting idle. Obviously, the CIA is interrogating him, and there is plenty he can tell about Putin, about Sechin, about Patrushev, about Lukashenko, and about all the black accounts of Rosneft. After all, the expert explains, Maduro had been the president of another country — someone they couldn’t touch — but now he has been caught.
“Just imagine how much information they are getting now from a living Maduro and how well it will be used. And when I say that Trump stated he does not believe the story about the attack on his residence in Valdai, I think Trump asked for a certain number of questions to be put to Maduro about Putin — and also about the use of the shadow fleet and money laundering through Venezuelan oil. I think there will be questions about Lavrov as well, about his role in delivering cocaine to Russia and to the EU in general, by the way, through diplomatic mail coming from Venezuela. After all, there is finally someone to ask about this. Before, they could interrogate only minor figures, but now they have in their hands a person who has all the safe houses, passwords, and data — and who, it seems to me, will want to cooperate,” Mykhailo Sheitelman explains.
