Minnesota, Unemployment, and the Epstein Files: An Expert Assessed How This Will Affect Trump and Ukraine

Trump

Political analyst Kostiantyn Matviienko explained that the Epstein files are yet another problem for Trump on top of others, so all attention will be focused not on ending the war in Ukraine, but on the domestic situation, Politeka reports.

He spoke about this on the program “Vilnyi Mediaprostir” (“Free Media Space”).

According to the program’s guest, Trump is in a difficult situation, and the issue is not limited to the Epstein files. In particular, he notes that there are protests in Minnesota, preparations for a strike on Iran, and no progress with Ukraine, which has turned out to be an absolutely failed direction for Trump — something his voters also see.

“Therefore, for Trump this situation is truly a dead end; I do not envy him. And then there is the publication of these files. The Clintons have agreed to testify before Congress — for him this is simply a colossal problem. Moreover, this problem does not primarily come from the Democrats; it is a problem within the Republican Party of the United States, because Make America Great Again did not envision the Epstein files at all, nor did it envision such despicable behavior by high-ranking American officials,” Kostiantyn Matviienko explains.

In addition, the expert notes that the Epstein files mention Peter Thiel, who is the embodiment of techno-fascism and who does many things that shape the ideology of Trumpism. After all, he states, Trumpism is defined not by Trump himself, but by Peter Thiel together with a closed group that includes U.S. Vice President Vance. According to the expert, this is a stalemate, so Trump’s entourage — and above all his wife Melania — will try to persuade him to step down, although it is unclear whether he will avoid criminal liability.

“Will this affect Ukraine? Yes, unfortunately, it will. The United States — somewhat under Biden, better than that, and significantly worse under Trump — nevertheless tried to stop the Russian-Ukrainian war. Unfortunately, now all the attention of the United States — both domestic and that of the administration — will be focused on the situation surrounding not only the Epstein files, but everything: unemployment, Minnesota, migration, and very, very many other issues,” Kostiantyn Matviienko asserts.
