Trump’s “cards”: an expert explained how to secure real U.S. assistance in the war

Trump

Doctor of Historical Sciences Pavlo Hai-Nyzhnyk explained that the United States is no longer a global policeman and acts pragmatically, so diplomacy must demonstrate why it is important for Ukraine to defeat Russia, Politeka reports.

He said this in the program “Free Media Space”.

“ The United States is not going to spend effort, money, and resources on something that is not beneficial to them. When Trump talks about ‘cards,’ this is what he means: ‘Why should we stand up for you? What does America get from this?’ From an economic and security standpoint, it’s pure pragmatism. This current (ed. — Republicans) that has come in is not going to disperse resources; they do not want to be a global policeman,” explains Pavlo Hai-Nyzhnyk.

Regarding Iran, he argues that this is not a situation of a global policeman, because the U.S. goal is to force regime change, curb nuclear ambitions, and make it impossible to produce nuclear weapons, as well as further consolidate Arab countries. In addition, the expert notes that something unprecedented has already happened: Israel has provided its “dome” to the Arabs, Russia has been pushed out of Syria, and the construction of a new gas and oil pipeline through Syria and Turkey is being prepared, meaning the configuration is changing.

As for U.S. assistance to Ukraine, the program’s guest explains that diplomacy must work here. It is necessary, he emphasizes, to show why Ukraine must win, why it is important, and why it must be a victory rather than just survival.
