Trump Is Starting to Believe in Ukraine: Expert Explains Why Defeating Russian Propaganda in the U.S. Is Important

Trump

Political analyst and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Musiienko, stated that Russian propaganda in the United States, which is slowing support for Ukraine, must be defeated and that Trump should be brought back to Ukraine’s side, according to Politeka.

He spoke about this on his blog.

“In an interview with French media, Macron said that Trump previously believed Ukraine would lose, that Ukraine would not be able to break through the air defense ring around Moscow, that the country would run out of strength, that society would not remain resilient, and that its energy sector, economy, and infrastructure would not withstand the pressure. But now, according to Macron, Trump is changing his position. By the way, some bloggers from the MAGA camp are changing their views as well, publicly admitting that they were wrong before. They say they did not realize that criminal Russian propaganda had penetrated the United States through social media and was spreading disinformation about Ukraine and Europe while trying to glorify Russia,” Oleksandr Musiienko explained.

According to him, this influence also targets Christian audiences and conservative communities. The expert emphasized that Patriarch Kirill, whom he describes as an FSB agent, blesses the Russian army in its war against Ukraine, which, he argues, is a sin not only in Christianity but in any religion. He also noted that Russia later launches drones at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Therefore, he argues, these issues should be discussed with religious communities and pastors in the United States, since Russia persecutes Christians in occupied territories and many churches have been damaged.

“I hope that the American public will increasingly recognize these facts, that more members of Congress will speak about them publicly, and that Trump will at the very least restore sanctions against Russia and remove existing exemptions. If we want to force Putin to back down, then alongside the ‘hellish sanctions’ imposed by Ukraine’s Defense Forces, we need comprehensive financial and economic restrictions on Russia,” Musiienko stated.

In particular, the expert stressed the need for Western sanctions against Russian oil, gas, nuclear energy, banking, cryptocurrency activities, the chemical industry, and other sectors, so that, together with Ukraine’s military pressure, they can further weaken the Kremlin’s budget.
