Ukraine Will Have Its Own Guided Bombs: Expert Explains How This Will Change the Situation on the Frontline

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko stated that the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb is already entering service, and explained why this is important, reports Politeka.
He shared this information on his blog.

According to the expert, these are kits with a guidance system that turn ordinary aerial bombs into high-precision, long-range gliding munitions. The system was developed over one and a half years, and the price of the “Vyrovnyuvach” is three times lower than the American JDAM. In his words, Ukraine needs guided bombs to destroy, for example, concentrations of forces in ruined buildings or basements in Pokrovsk.

“To destroy enemy positions, sometimes drones are not enough, not even artillery. You need something heavier, bigger, and faster. We are talking specifically about guided bombs, which are capable of carrying out these tasks, hitting well-fortified enemy command posts, locations where they hide UAV units and weapons, concentrate personnel, and disrupt logistics. This is very important in terms of slowing down the enemy’s offensive resources,” Oleksandr Musiienko explained.

However, the expert adds, in addition to supplying guided bombs, additional aircraft are also needed, because this is continuous combat work under quite challenging conditions, as it must be understood that the enemy still tries to interfere with such strikes.

“Therefore, it is very important that we received news specifically about the aerial bomb. I will also mention the price aspect, as the developers said it is three times cheaper than the American counterpart. In particular, it is also cheaper than missile weaponry. Of course, missiles can reach longer distances, but in terms of disrupting enemy logistics and destroying positions along the front, this is significant news,” concludes Oleksandr Musiienko.
