The expert explained why Russia refuses to negotiate in the Vatican: "Putin will be arrested"

Political technologist Mikhail Sheitelman explained that the Kremlin does not want negotiations in the Vatican for several reasons: Lavrov does not like the architecture, Russia is a Muslim country, and Putin will be arrested, Politeka reports.

He told about this in his blog.

As the expert reminds, Ukraine offered Russia to hold the next technical round of negotiations in the Vatican after exchanging 1,000 for 1,000, but Lavrov replied that it would be inelegant, as if the whole point was in some interior.

"The elegant Sistine Chapel is not enough for him, he prefers the golden palaces of Istanbul. Because he simply does not understand, the person has no bite. He cannot understand the elegance of the Vatican, the elegance of St. Peter's Cathedral. Here is Dubai. He also loves the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, where there is fresh, gold, fake marble. Everything is as Lavrov likes, as it is for any nouveau riche, that is, a person who has come out of poverty," says Mikhail Sheitelman.

But it turned out, he notes, that Lavrov is against negotiations in the Vatican, because Orthodox countries cannot discuss issues on a Catholic platform. According to the expert, it is interesting that Turkey and Saudi Arabia perfectly suited him, perhaps it was Lavrov who recognized that Russia is a Muslim country, therefore such a choice of venues for negotiations.

"But Bloomberg revealed why the Russians refuse to hold negotiations precisely in the Vatican. Russia, it turns out, opposes negotiations in the Vatican, because Putin will eventually have to go there, and Putin will be arrested there due to the warrant issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There is no airport in the Vatican, and Italy is arresting. Here you have all the elegance. And there was no need to steal children, then they could sit in the Vatican. Sorry, I will answer Comrade Lavrov in an inelegant rhyme," says Mikhail Sheitelman.
