War between India and Pakistan: What is known about the losses on both sides

Pakistan stated that 26 civilians were killed and 46 others were injured in the Indian strikes on the night of Wednesday, May 7.
A spokesman for the Pakistani armed forces, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that 26 civilians were killed and 46 others were injured in the Indian strikes on the night of Wednesday, May 7.
According to him, 13 people were killed in the city of Ahmadpur East, including two children, seven women and four men.
Chaudhry noted that 37 people were injured in the attack on the city, including nine women and 28 men. He noted that 13 more people were killed in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
The spokesman said that the targets of the attacks were places that had been photographed by international media to show that "civilians and families" were living there, in contrast to "baseless and unreasonable allegations" made by India.
A day before the attack, the Pakistani military's press service offered to take international journalists to Muridke and Bahawalpur, as India had accused the country of harboring militants in those areas.
At the same time, an Indian military spokesman told a briefing that the targets of the night strikes were "recruitment centers, launch pads and indoctrination centers."
He said the targets were chosen based on preliminary intelligence. The briefing also showed aerial photographs of strikes on Pakistani territory.
