30-kilometer demilitarized zone: expert explains the danger of such a plan

war

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman told what is happening on the diplomatic front, whether new peace initiatives are emerging and who is now to blame for the fact that there is no peace, Politeka reports.

He wrote about this in his blog.

As the expert says, according to the US President's special representative Keith Kellogg, Ukraine is ready to stop the war along the line of fire with a 30-kilometer demilitarized zone. That is, he explains, we retreat 15 km, the Russians retreat 15 km, it turns out 30 km, so that at least the artillery does not reach, but then entire cities will end up in this demilitarized zone, for example, Chasov Yar or Vovchansk.

"Peskov says about Kellogg's words that the Russian authorities have not heard Ukraine's proposal to organize a demilitarized zone along the line of combat contact. I understood, maybe they didn’t hear it because of the roar of drones and missiles that we launched on Moscow and other cities? After all, 447 drones and missiles is a serious thing, you might not hear it. He says that there was not a single statement on this matter from Kyiv. Why did Whitkoff come to you, in your opinion? What does Kyiv have to do with it? Whitkoff went to your Putin, told him all this, probably, right? It’s not like all this just appeared from somewhere,” Mikhail Sheitelman comments.

But, since Russia is against it, Keith Kellogg continued his research in the field of peacekeeping and said that the only person who can produce results is Trump, but only if Putin agrees, so Putin today is the only obstacle on the path to peace.

“Well, well. Now we’ve learned a lot. Yes, Trump recently said that only we are an obstacle. Here we are sitting under drones and interfering with peace. But it turned out that no. “It turned out that it was Putin after all,” concludes Mikhail Sheitelman.
