While Trump Hesitates, Iran May Transfer Highly Enriched Uranium to Russia for Storage: Expert Opinion

Political expert and serviceman Oleksandr Musiienko said that Trump has taken two weeks to make a decision regarding the Middle East. Iran, it seems, is ready for negotiations, but once again, Russia is the one benefiting, reports Politeka.
He shared this in his blog.
While tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, the expert explains, Russia is constantly calling on the U.S. not to intervene and not to strike Iran — and the Americans, as we can see, are listening. According to him, information about whether the U.S. will intervene is quite contradictory. There were reports about a potential strike on Fordow, but then doubts arose. Fox News also reported that Trump is considering even using tactical nuclear weapons, but so far, that hasn't happened.
“Trump will make a decision on Iran within the next two weeks. Did Trump perhaps listen to a translated speech by Arestovych? These ‘2–3 weeks’ are starting to sound like a mantra — because he keeps giving Putin two weeks too. This is already the third time the U.S. President has given a two-week deadline to make a decision and to get Russia ready for constructive dialogue and a ceasefire. But the latest two-week period has already expired, and we still haven’t heard anything from the U.S. President,” Oleksandr Musiienko noted.
According to the expert, Reuters reports that contacts between Iran and the U.S. have already taken place, and negotiations are scheduled for June 20 in Geneva. However, he adds, the talks will be between representatives of Iran, Germany, France, the UK, and the EU — the U.S. and Israel will not be present, but this could be the first step.
“The proposed scenario suggests that Iran may transfer its highly enriched uranium to a third country for storage and, if necessary, demand its return. Let’s take a wild guess — which country might that be? I suspect it will be Russia. At some point, even Putin’s representatives might be involved in the negotiations. Russia could not only play the role of mediator, but also take on a specific role envisioned for the Kremlin in this plan — to store the uranium under certain obligations,” said Oleksandr Musiienko.
