"Shoots an arrow but doesn't aim at the target": expert explained the essence of Trump's policy

Trump
Political scientist Pavlo Zhovnirenko explained that Ukraine should not rely on the US in security matters, and it’s not just about this administration—Trump is simply more cynical as a businessman, Politeka reports.

He shared this on the "7 Steps" channel.
According to the program's guest, Vance is essentially a copy of Trump, and overall, these are people who take too much upon themselves and talk a lot, even though there is Congress, which also decides a lot. At the same time, he notes, with the new US administration, the system of values has changed; Trump is even called a Texas sharpshooter.
"This is a meme in the States. Who is a Texas sharpshooter? He shoots an arrow but doesn't aim at the target. He just shoots, like, bang, and that's it. The arrow hits a wall, he goes up, digs out this arrow, and where it hit, he draws the center of the target and says: 'Look, I hit a bullseye, how cool am I.' And that's how their whole policy is," Pavlo Zhovnirenko explains.
Speaking about special envoys Witkoff and Kushner, the expert claims they decide nothing; they are not specialists—it's like sending a dentist to fix electrical wiring. Trump's special envoys, he states, proved this in their work with Iran, so Ukraine should conduct negotiations specifically with Europeans.
"If we take both the current leadership and the previous one, I don't differentiate here. Obama, Trump, or Biden. Trump is only more cynical; he is a businessman. Trump reminds me of Yanukovych; for him, everything is about bucks (money). But Trump is a hypertrophied Yanukovych. He quite openly raised the issue of corruption: 'Give me a billion for the Peace Council.' He looks at the Russian-Ukrainian war and the territorial issue the same way: 'Well, what are these few kilometers?' Vance says, are a few hundred kilometers worth those thousands who will die. They simply look from a different side. Therefore, Ukraine must guarantee its own security," Pavlo Zhovnirenko concludes.
